Music Boosters

Welcome to the Music Boosters

The Music Boosters is a volunteer organization with the sole mission to encourage, promote, and support the activities of our school's outstanding music programs for the benefit of all music students.  

We're responsible for organizing the labor (parent/family volunteers) and raising the funds to support our students' participation in Homestead's award-winning band programs. Whether we're providing funds to support classroom instruction, feeding the students, cheering on the kids at competitions, or funding scholarships for college-bound seniors, everyone is a valued contributor.

During marching band registration in the summer, families are invited to join the Music Boosters for a small fee. Members are eligible to vote at our membership meetings and to serve on the Board of Directors. Serving on the Board is an administrative leadership volunteer position, meeting monthly during the school year to manage the business of the Music Boosters.  Board members are elected to one-year terms at the annual meeting of the membership at the end of the school year.

All parents, regardless of membership status are invited and encouraged to volunteer and donate to support our students.  Please see the Volunteer and Donate pages for more information.

Homestead High School Music Boosters a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  Our tax id number is 77-0341030.
